Summary

1 Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC
LEAGUE: (10-5-5)
CUP: (8-0-2)
Week 23: W @ CLT

Last Week: 1
The Hailstorm got a big away win over Charlotte to continue their fine form, as they have taken nine points from nine available following the team’s USL Jägermeister Cup Final win over Madison on Sept. 28.
2 Forward Madison FC
LEAGUE: (10-2-8)
CUP: (6-3-1)
Week 23: W v CHA

Last Week: 2
It took a 92nd-minute penalty conversion from all-time leading scorer Christian Chaney to power the home side in front of Charlotte despite a dominant display, with Madison continuing to set up a club-record regular season finish.
3 Union Omaha
LEAGUE: (13-4-3)
CUP: (3-2-3)
Week 23: W v LEX

Last Week: 3
It took over 70 minutes and a red card for the visitors for Omaha to get ahead of Lexington, 2-1, at Werner Park, but these kind of results are what can separate champions from the rest of the pack.
4 Greenville Triumph SC
LEAGUE: (10-6-4)
CUP: (3-3-2)
Week 23: W @ SPK
2
Last Week: 6
A scrappy 3-2 win over Spokane helped Greenville continue to establish some momentum ahead of the postseason, which they should continue to build upon in its final two regular season matches.
5 One Knoxville SC
LEAGUE: (8-5-6)
CUP: (4-2-2)
Week 22: T @ CHA
1
Last Week: 4
Knoxville got a rest in Week 23 and have already qualified for the USL League One Playoffs, presented by Terminix in what will be the second postseason appearance in the young club’s history.
6 Charlotte Independence
LEAGUE: (8-6-6)
CUP: (3-2-4)
Week 23: L v NCO
1
Last Week: 7
Charlotte were holding the Hailstorm level at home until a stoppage-time winner from the Hailstorm’s David García gave the visitors all three points. Recent results against League One’s three top teams suggest that Charlotte are going to need to improve quickly if they want to truly compete in the postseason.
7 Richmond Kickers
LEAGUE: (5-9-6)
CUP: (2-3-3)
Week 23: T @ SPK
2
Last Week: 5
A win against Tormenta FC would have been huge for Richmond’s chances at a first postseason appearance since 2022, but they were able to rescue a point with a late equalizer. While they still sit above the playoff line, their fate will likely come down to the final week of the regular season.
8 Chattanooga Red Wolves SC
LEAGUE: (5-12-3)
CUP: (1-5-2)
Week 23: L @ MAD
1
Last Week: 9
Despite their poor run of form, Chattanooga gave Madison quite the game, as it took a penalty in the final minutes of play to lift the ‘Mingos over the Red Wolves following a Chattanooga equalizer in the 66th minute.
9 Lexington SC
LEAGUE: (4-11-5)
CUP: (3-2-3)
Week 23: L @ OMA
1
Last Week: 8
Lexington were in the driver’s seat with a 1-0 scoreline away against Omaha, but a red card in the 76th minute opened the door for the home side to bounce back as Lexington suffered a difficult 2-1 loss.
10 South Georgia Tormenta FC
LEAGUE: (4-8-8)
CUP: (0-4-4)
Week 23: T v RIC

Last Week: 10
The Ibises squandered a two-goal lead against Richmond as the pair lead the charge for the final postseason berth. They must now find points against Union Omaha and Greenville to maintain their dwindling postseason chances.
11 Spokane Velocity FC
LEAGUE: (7-8-5)
CUP: (1-5-2)
Week 23: L v GVL

Last Week: 11
Although it already clinched a spot in the postseason, Spokane fell to Greenville to continue a winless streak that began at the beginning of September. The first-year side will need to turn their fortune quickly if they want to make a difference come playoffs.
12 Central Valley Fuego FC
LEAGUE: (4-12-3)
CUP: (1-3-4)
Week 23: W v SPK

Last Week: 12
Despite a win over Spokane, Central Valley will almost certainly need to win out and hope some other teams drop points in order to sneak into the playoffs.
